I sat by my window, looking out over Summer Street, from the apartment I’d taken after Mary’s death. A potted ivy wilted on the sill - green in the center, brown around the edges. I hadn't had much luck with plants since Mary’d gone. My pipe needed reaming too, but I couldn’t muster the energy for even that small task.

Something new I'm trying, called a six word story. Aptly named, because they only have six words.
Since this is new, LOTS of feedback would be just splendid! I've noticed a lot of six word stories aren't actually stories, just sentences that are kind of...there and don't do anything. Does this tell a story to you? What kind of story? What would make it better/worse?
